Stop server hostname resolving to domain?

n1kkon1kko Member

My server hostname e.g: srv1.mydomain.com resolves to my default domain is there a way to stop this or set sort of a landing page for srv1.mydomain.com?

Comments

  • Yes, you need to set up a virtual host. What web server do you use? Apache, Nginx, lighttpd?

  • Using apache with vestacp

  • Create a new virtualhost (or "Add a Web Domain" as is called on VestaCP) for srv1.mydomain.com.
