It's them doing the ssl.
I wonder if it's possible for them to buy wildcard domain for all the tld's or something, like *.com.
Of course, they could setup their own root/intermediary cert and issue all the certs from there :P
To push more sales before the roll-out of free SSL ;-)

There's no catch with what they offer for free right now, so I don't think there would be with SSL.
