Been with them, they never wanted to enable tun/tap

I think he wants 2 IPs with the plan without having to pay extra.
Its pretty much the same thing - either he pays extra $ for the IP, or it is already included in the price and costs 1$ more. And also, go with inceptionhosting, they are great.
