For a referral credit I believe so. Other you could signup with $5 and leave it idle for 3 months for a $20 payout?
https://www.linode.com/referrals
I have no idea about how it works, linode used to have monthly subscriptions, but now with their hourly billing I have no clue.
The coupon code does no longer work for me...
New account?
Yeah, it seems expired
Open a support ticket and let us know
yeah
I just did. Are you somehow connected to Linode?
I think he meant us as the forum members
No, I am not connected to Linode. Let us know what support says about the coupon so that I can update the post.
Thanks
Got it just in time
Phew, I had no use for this but was afraid I was going to get more and more tempted to signup. Now that it's expired, I don't need to worry about it.
It's awesome.
I would of signed up but scored the $100 credit for existing customers a few weeks back
Thanks for bringing this up. Looking at how much ram it uses I'm not quite sure whether it's an effective as a way of monitoring low end boxes though (I'm guessing it's designed for more powerful servers such as let's say, linodes...)
geeez! i missed this one.
Thought I'd put the credit to use and run the first ServerBear on the 96GB Linode.

20 cores of a E5-2680 and only 3200 Points at Unixbench ? Sounds like a ripoff... @ $1000 / Mo
Ouch
I am pretty sure they limit resources for VPS that's less than 1 hour old.
