It's pretty good. 5 TB on 1 Gbps would be a bit better but it's still reasonably priced.

You are right ,Dedicated 1 Gbps can and will make a lot of difference , I have asked for more offers as I will be buying 14 servers from them (over 13 days)

    Any other advice guys ?

If you are taking that many servers then it's not about individual pricing but what they can offer as a package and you should be asking what they can offer on that basis.

What location? Average deal for the US, absolutely craptastic for the EU.

Thank you so much , just asked them for giving me a package price instead of prices for individual servers ...

It is from EU (smartdc NL) , can you suggest me some providers that can offer better pricing in EU (NL preferred) ?

You mean i3d? Even i3d themselves have a E3-1230 server with 25TB bandwidth on 1Gbps for about the same price (but less RAM): http://www.i3d.net/deals/ And there are some coupons to bring those prices further down, http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1384373

Aside from in NL: SoYouStart, Online.net, Hetzner. All of them will have either a cheaper server with similar specs, or offer way better specs for that price. 53 USD is 38 EUR. Now see what kind of specs you get for 30-40 EUR at http://www.soyoustart.com/fr/serveurs-essential/ or http://www.online.net/fr/serveur-dedie/comparatif-serveur-dedie-start

  • Online.net offers is pretty good, but support is so much better !
