Usage statistics

How can I log VPS usage statistics? I would like to log disc space usage, bandwidth usage, CPU usage.

  • Munin, Observium etc for self-hosted.

Or NodeQuery for a hosted alternative.

If you don't need extremely specific data, I'd recommend going for NodeQuery. It should save you the hassle of setting up everything yourself, even though there are some good guides out there (including LEB's) that explain Observium and Monit in-depth.

The only metric that isn't as well measured as I would like to by NodeQuery is traffic. Fortunately you can use vnstat for that, and it'll give you precise traffic usage metrics.

  • NodeQuery is very good! Thanks!
