I've thought of running a tor node on my servers but don;t sit too comfortably with the idea of having CP and god knows what else passing through my server.

I am not running any. I might run one in the future, but for now I don't even use Tor that often, and don't have very many extra servers laying around.
2 limited exit relays (ssh, telnet, irc, https and pptp allowed only), used to run an exit node with anything allowed but my provider suspended for random reason...
Run on kimsufi and OVH vps.

I pay 30EUR / Month for my 1000Mbit BW setup (10x100Mbit), 9EUR to OVH for 3x100Mbit (currently removing, suspended after 10TB now) and 10EUR to some other ISPs (currently removing, saves money) - Not expensive in the end if you know the right ISPs.
It's currently a lot of money for me but still worth it (imo), especially now with laws possibly outlawing middle nodes in Austria (we'll see that end of june in court) there should be some presence shown. (also of of many reasons to avoid Austria in many things)
Still 39 EUR more than me though mate, fair dos.
