... just kidding.. windows sux anyway. do whatever you like with it..
A complete reinstall will wipe any remains of the old license and will be a fresh 180 days. I used this for windows 7 at home with slmgr -rearm until I managed to get some licenses from people upgrading to windows 8 :P
