Virtualmin officially supporting Ubuntu 14.04

I popped on to Virtualmin's site on the other night and saw that the installer now supports Ubuntu 14.04. I had been waiting for this and began moving things around to upgrade a few VPS's I have. I noticed that, out-of-the-box, running the same configuration on 14.04 is utilizing about 200mb less RAM (on a 2GB instance). So far, I have to say that this looks promising.

I just wanted to share in case anyone was waiting on 14.04 support for this control panel.

  • Finally! I've been waiting for this, actually. Going to try it soon.

    Thanks for sharing!

Time flies, it's apache 2.4 and php 5.5 now. Sure to use less ram than ubuntu 12.04.
