Have fun! If you encounter any issues, please let us know and it will get sorted as soon as possible.

  • The free accounts are now gone. It seems a few orders for the free VMs were able to get through as they were made at the same time. If that was the case with your order, it has been cancelled so as to keep the limit to 3 free VMs only.

I want my free dedicated server! :P

Also, the Java Applet doesn't works for me, is it possible to get Proxmox or VNC access?

    EDIT:
When i try to connect to Proxmox, i'm getting this:

Maybe that's the same reason for the Java console

Also, add the option to select HDD for more disk space. Like 25GB for the 256mb plan and 50GB for the 512mb plan.

  • @cassa Sorry, no can do on the dedicated server.

As for console access I have confirmed the Java applet works using an up-to-date browser such as Firefox or Chrome and at least Java 7 update 40. Your Java security settings may also have to be changed to allow the web applet.

If after double checking all that and the console is still not available, work is being done right now to allow external VNC access.

    Haha, i know.

Still not working, getting this error:

  • Same as above ^. It's clearly a good thing they gave away some free ones as it's still really a BETA.

  • @cassa @NickPerk External VNC connections are now an option for those who cannot or do not want to use the Java applet.

Currently the external connection must be allowed manually by submitting a ticket. If enough of a need is requested for such a thing, automatic setup of external connections and inclusion in the welcome email will be considered.
