Client area was never down. There was an announcement on the client area regarding the issue as well.
Gotcha. I am just aware that most part of client area is working.
Well the network is up as well now. The VPS management page goes down if the network is down of the node your vps is on. But all other pages including submit a ticket page were available.
I've made the necessary changes to allow the VPS management page to show an error message when the connection to the node fails.
