For forward DNS you need to create a DNS Plan first, then assign a client(s) to the plan. Then if you'd like to assign that plan to all the clients, in mysql run
update clients set dnsid = '1' where dnsid = '0';

They are not the hostmaster, so no, why would there be? You manage the servers.
No I get it, I was thinking it would be the admin contact for the domain like in whois.
Now what it needs is a template to be used on zone creation putting the most common items MX records, CNAME's etc in there.
