Actually, Im tryiing with vm. not container.. because in the future, I learn to install windows and windows use vm right?

I did the iptables.. still cant..

is this normal for newly created vm? http://i.imgur.com/ApRbKkW.png

    the status show "internal error"

    Thanked by 1ErawanArifNugroho
  • maybe there are problems with iptables??

this is my output of "iptables -L"

    Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
    target prot opt source destination

    Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
    target prot opt source destination

    Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
    target prot opt source destination

  • Sometimes, I got an error, and that's because the OS not booted to the right kernel, or the vm directory have an incorrect owner.

  • The vm started but it show "internal-error" on the status..

What do you think I should do now?? I tried everything

  • Now, new problem..

After I created the vm, I start it... automatically SSH disconnect and http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8006/ cant connect in browser.. I had to reboot the server in online.net's panel

Did you change iptables to drop or forward 8006?

    Nope.. I didnt..
btw, I asked on proxmox's forum.. a staff suggest me to upgrade my proxmox.. So, I did from 2.3 to 3.1.. then, this problem shows up..

btw, i reinstall my server to try luck with 2.3 again..
Seriously, I tried a lot.. many tutorial I followed.. I successfully setiing up container with nat.. but not vm.. when I tried to run the vm created, it will show internal-error.. even console show "could not connect to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8006/"

I did not know what is the mistakes..

can anyone post actual script to be put in /etc/network/interfaces/ ???
I think that is the problem why my vm cant be connected.

  • Looks like no one can help me.. then, i should forget KVM and just use openvz..

or maybe I should try virtualbox :'((((
