OpenVPN IPv6 Tunnel

nunimnunim Member
edited April 2014 in General

I used to use the HE.net (Tunnelbroker) tunnel for my IPv6 as there's no way my ISP is going to be providing it anytime soon, however I got their IPTV service which forced me into using a certain router that doesn't support it.

Has anyone setup a tunnel using OpenVPN?

In the end I'd like to tunnel IPv6 traffic only via Windows, however if this is not possible then Linux will do. I know that you require an actual IPv6 allocation (i.e. /64) to use the IPv6 feature of OpenVPN.

I'm attempting to setup this up on my SecureDragon VPS which offers /64 of V6. I'm not an OpenVPN pro, I typically stick to openvpn-as because of it's easy configuration but it appears that only the community branch supports V6.

Anyone have some pointers for me, or have you created a similar setup?

Thanks!
