How to protect web script from being illegally distributed?
I am going to develop a Vcard/CV Resume in PHP for a person. I want it to be domain restricted. I mean he should not be able to redistribute it to others after buying from me. It should only run on specific domain.
I know that it is difficulties in these days. Precautions can be made.
What are the ways to ensure that this do not happens. Link to resource, Any Suggestion?

Self host it and limit the domains that the webserver responds to?
Don't give him the script, give him a service (i.e. a hosted script).
IonCube etc. make it harder, but the only way to completely ensure it is to host it yourself and provide it as a service.
IonCube is a good suggestion.
