offering rDNS on these plans?
So even unsubstantiated and bogus DMCA and SPAM claims will make you kick out your clients?
So even unsubstantiated and bogus DMCA and SPAM claims will make you kick out your clients?
no thanks
btw, who hosted on these server just pm me with your IP address, I'll send DMCA :P lol
It's most likely a typo and should be "within" or something like that
I'd like to take a 1024GB VPS but do you really mean that?
I've seen such kind of typos for at least three times.
Ordered the 1024GB plan before , going to host a few mine craft servers
1TB of RAM ftw....
Both are great
do you offer DirectAdmin?
@tommy you can't figure that out from the Test IPs?
why not? they'll set rDNS to their hostname, and just send false DMCA
For clarity.. And as tommy bolded for us above :
I know there can be bogus claims. If you can show to me that it is bogus then OK. My entire hope by stating this is that I want to give you all something to use but I do not want to spend days answering tickets from the DC about this IP and that IP and their 28 SPAM complaints and 4 DMCA's in one day. That is all.
Brandon
So this means the burden of proof is not on the site of the claiming person but on the side of the accused?
No it means if you get a server and you are caught seeding torrents it's over. Or if the National Center for Exploited Children sends a email about child pornography from your IP it's over. (Yes, that happened last week..)
It's easy to tell when someone is doing this anyways. Customer buys a server, they use 90% of their storage at once and are near the end of their bandwidth quota in 1 week. You can rest assured most of the time you will get DMCA complaints on that IP with a month.
We provide servers to be used -- not for peoples illegal fun time.
But you said that vps will be terminated in case of report WITHOUT valid reason. Are you sure that this isn't typo? As non native speaker my english isn't perfect but this sound scary. So "without a valid reason" isn't mistake?
I typo'd.. I meant to say if you can't provide a valid reason against it - then .....
I have edited it to say:
If DMCA and/or SPAM complaints are sent against your IP and proof is not provided from you showing us the invalidism of the claim the server will be terminated without refund.
I should have been clearer. My apologies.
a lot of questions and critics in their last offer on LEB:

I think I might give them a chance for 128MB/$15 because I am tired of waiting for BuyVM. they are empty for weeks already.
We always have our fair share of critics. Are we 100% perfect? No.. No one really is. I can find fault with anything as well. I admit though at times I feel like we have taken criticism worth more than our fair share. The fact is we have been in business since April of 2009. In terms of longevity, reliability and management-- I will let that speak for itself.
About BuyVM -- Fran runs a tight ship. They have a lot of demand. It's my understanding they pretty much sell all within hours of offering.
Brandon,
Do you have host in a box template for cento 32bit?
I did not see one on the list.
Yes, it's on the nodes. I do not have it in the drop down. That reminds me to add it. Give me 5 min.
cool
It's there now.
thanks
Noticed that 1.8.0 SolusVM installed and now it's giving module command errors on creates.. One minute.
It's actually nice to see a provider pay attention to spam and dmca/copyright claims.
Unlike a few others I could mention. :P
@innya .. I had a couple of ' <-- in the description. SolusVM does not like that FYI. Its online with Kloxo Host in a Box.
hmm what kind of error u getting
SolusVM 1.8.0 with KVM is a dream come true... No more hacks!
Look at this from the Release Notes today:
Added option to set the KVM disk cache type to Default, None, Writethrough, Writeback or Directsync.
Added virtio network drivers for KVM.
Added option to set the KVM disk device driver. You can now switch to virtio over the default ide.
Anyone looking for some KVM specials?
None now. It was failing to auto create the VPS because I had a double quote in the description. Don't know why I did that.
oh, it is new soluvm
