    Dude, will you just stop pushing it? It's getting ridiculous.

    How you came to that conclusion? And why disagreeing with you is ridiculous? Are you some kind of authority for anything and everything?

    P.S. Anyway last post in this topic for me so you can have last word :)

    I work in the internet industry in the mentioned country, and I know it's strengths and weaknesses. You hit a sour spot for me when you act like that advanced option could be a reality for the majority. I have worked for raising awareness for issues like net neutrality and how to prevent it with personal measures, and we just could not make people get more aware. They'll always look for the easiest way out instead of the one that'd last the longest or the one that'd be the most comprehensive. So if there's the need to reach the masses, the easiest ways should be employed. With your mindset, Tor might as well be implemented; but that's just not for the masses.

  • its strange the turkish regime now wants to block youtube aswell as twitter and FB. host it in what they call "israel"? am sure that will make em happy

    Thank you for your advices. I read your post before you deleted it.

    @Vienna
    Thank you for your efforts. A very nice post with good ideas.

    @others
    Thank you also.

    What we will do now:
    Get three VPS. One which will host the website, one which will work as proxy to hide the IP of the hosting VPS and which can be changed easily, one for backup. All VPS will be hosted in US with different providers payed by people who are living in a safe country. Logs will be turned on a minimum basis in case of technical problems.

    We will get a portfolio of domains, which will be spread via Twitter and Facebook in case of censorship.

    All connections to the servers will be made via Pefect Privacy VPN over a Live Dist via USB stick.

    I suggest you to not get other domains to begin with. No need to be obvious about what's going to come next. Your alternate domains could be found before putting them to use.

    Maybe use Cloudflare as well.

    Also you might try posting via email feature that's available with many CMS such as Wordpress, where you can also use remailers in between and dummy accounts etc. Or mail content as PGP encrypted mails to counterparts abroad and they add the content. I'm not sure if there's a PGP implementation to post by email function, but doubt it. If there was, would be a good idea to use. Also writing inside a webmail-based provider like Gmail and saving as draft where others in Europe/US can reach and use the content, is an option.

    Work on such technologies for intra-team communications as well.

    It can be published as shared document in google drive for example you only need to post the link. They wont be blocking google drive, however, they might be asking google to terminate the account and give up the IPs and the americans will comply because they need all the allies in the black sea at this time.
    You can put it on Tor and use one of the gateways to link it, but those will be blocked one by one. I would NOT suggest hosting in US because US is an ally of the turkish government, you need to host it in a democratic country where the constitution and the privacy laws are respected. Even so, you should host it anonymously, pay with bitcoin or other ways, connect only over Tor, things like those.
    I suggest they get onboard some IT student it is VERY hard to maintain anonymity over internet, when your life is at stake, you will not want to make a mistake and reveal your identity. Use only prepaid cards and discardable (you can sell them anonymously to dealers on the black market after usage to recover some money) phones, this is not an issue to play with.

    they c/would do that, it's not that significant to the masses here.

    i don't think they'd cave for this, but instead of google docs/drive, mega, pastebin are better. gmail'd be still fine.

    us won't go this far. the centre of all leaks is in the east coast us anyway, no need to mess with some kids. the certain someone is residing there already.

    Who cares if nobody will know? And if they allow something pass, it usually mean they struck some kind of deal. The turkish government will get their IPs and even names if available, so they HAVE TO keep all sensitive information private. Those "kids" are the most "dangerous terrorists" because they fight for the idea of freedom and that is already hard to be killed, if someone actively helps it, becomes immortal and no "serious" religion will like that.
    The turks will fight this, the regime will not get their way, even if they make something like singapore and everyone will live in luxury, that is obviously impossible over there and the dictatorship and the struggle that came with it are still in people memory. The only real danger is in countries where dictatorship was not really known for centuries and the economy can support, at least for a while, a high standard of living and a very big repressive apparatus.
