Hey everyone!

We've recently expanded our network at BGP Network (AS214329), and we're excited to announce that Cogent Communications (AS174) is now LIVE on our IP Transit uplink in Kansas City!

Cogent joins our existing Arelion (AS1299) and GTT (AS3257) connections, providing additional upstream diversity and global connectivity.

Even better, our BGP VPS platform is now FULLY AUTOMATED — from VPS deployment to live BGP configuration on our routers, with ZERO manual intervention!

BGP VPS Starter – $9.99/month

Specification Included
CPU 1 vCPU
RAM 2 GB
Storage 20 GB
Network Port 1 Gbps Unmetered
Location Kansas City, USA
BGP Support Included
BYOASN + BYOIP Supported
Price $9.99/month

Order directly: https://portal.bgp.sa/vps/configure/bgp-vps-starter

Bring Your Own ASN + IP Prefixes (BYOASN / BYOIP)

Have your own ASN and IP prefixes? Bring them to BGP Network!

Announce your own IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes through our network using your own ASN.

  • BYOASN: Bring and use your own Autonomous System Number.
  • BYOIP: Bring and announce your own IP prefixes.
  • IPv4 + IPv6 BGP: Both address families supported.
  • No LOA Required: A correct, verifiable IRR route object OR valid RPKI authorization is sufficient for prefix authorization, subject to our routing policies.

No complicated onboarding or manual BGP setup required.

100% AUTOMATED BGP — ZERO MANUAL INTERVENTION

This is not a manually provisioned BGP service. Everything is handled directly by our automated customer portal and router integration.

Our system automatically handles:

  • Instant VPS Provisioning — Deploy your VPS through the portal.
  • Automated BGP Session Creation — Create your own BGP sessions directly from the customer portal.
  • Automatic Router Configuration — Our system configures IPv4/IPv6 BGP neighbors directly on our production routers.
  • Automatic ASN AS-SET Integration — Your ASN is automatically added to our RIPE IRR AS-SET (AS214329:AS-BGPNETWORKS) through our synchronization system.
  • Automated Billing — Manage your service and payments through the portal.
  • Self-Service Management — Manage your BGP configuration without opening support tickets.

No waiting for engineers. No manual router configuration. No support tickets for standard BGP provisioning.

Just order your VPS, enter your ASN, configure your session, and our automation handles the rest!

Network & Global Connectivity — NOW WITH COGENT!

Our network, AS214329, is connected to three major Tier 1 transit providers:

  • Cogent Communications (AS174)
  • Arelion (AS1299)
  • GTT (AS3257)

We also maintain global peering connectivity through multiple Internet Exchanges, including:

Why should we choose you over BuyVM that has the same price for 2GB but double storage?
What’s your competitive advantage over them?

  • Does BuyVM support BYOASN and BYOIP?

We're not trying to compete on storage per dollar. We're building a fully automated, self-service BGP platform with three Tier 1 transit providers (Cogent, Arelion, and GTT), extensive IX peering, unmetered bandwidth, and automated BGP provisioning and IRR AS-SET integration.

Our main advantage is routing flexibility, upstream diversity, unmetered bandwidth, and automation, not disk space.

BuyVM allows 50Mbps persistent bandwidth usage on their 2GB plan.
Is your fair use allowance higher than this?
If so, that would be your advantage.

We allow high bandwidth usage, up to 1Gbps on the port. However, under our fair use policy, inbound and outbound traffic should be reasonably balanced.

OK so if I want to serve out files to many users I just need to download random data to /dev/null 24/7 thanks sounds good

That’s not the intention of the policy. We don’t require a strict 1:1 traffic ratio, and legitimate download-heavy workloads are not automatically prohibited. Sustained or unusually asymmetric usage is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If high bandwidth usage were to be observed, how would you review and investigate? Would this involve logging into a user's VM?

No, there’s no need to access customers’ VMs. We monitor traffic at our edge routers using NetFlow and interface statistics to identify unusual traffic patterns, bandwidth utilization, and inbound/outbound ratios. Any further investigation is based on network-level data, not access to the customer’s VM.

  • guys we lost another solider

such a big lose, previous offer was great

So your advantage is having more bandwidth than BuyVM.
However, requiring balanced traffic means the bandwidth can only be used as a BGP router or VPN gateway.
It is unusable as a general server for serving content.

The lack of HDD storage slabs is your disadvantage.
With small boot drive and no storage slabs, your server is unsuitable as content server anyway.
