[SCAM ALERT] [VDS.net] Misleading speed and traffic info, unstable VDS, no refund
Rented a VDS in Istanbul. Sales and support told me 1 Gbps and 20 TB fair use, their own site says 10 Gbps and unlimited traffic, and my panel showed 5 TB. Later support said Türkiye is actually 100 Mbps and that the 1 Gbps / 20 TB info “referred to Germany”. They admitted in writing to giving me “conflicting information”.
The server also dropped traffic for days (5.5% packet loss, proven with simultaneous captures on both ends) while support kept saying there were no known issues on their side. It only changed after they moved my VM to another upstream, and my speed fell from about 336 Mbit/s to 100.
I asked for a refund. They said they would “review” it and have not replied for 1 week even live chat they read the messages and never reply. Support and the tech team gave me different answers every time. Get exactly what you are paying for in writing before you rent.
