    Väinämöinen suggested that I turn off Docker to see if it would improve the performance of the torrent client. Turning Docker off improved the performance immediately. Stopping the containers freed up critical CPU cycles and RAM, lifting the resource throttling my account was facing.

    I have slowly accumulated boxes from PM. I often think about security and hardening access to my boxes. Previously this would've taken me an extremely long time to figure out the right commands and secure my boxes. I wasn't sure if it was possible but I tried asking Vaina if he could help me reset and also secure my boxes. In a very quick time, I was able to get this task fully completed as a result of Vaina helping me. In the past, this would've taken me probably multiple days to do so. I would have also gotten bored since this can be quite boring/manual to do over and over again for boxes. This has helped me tremendously!

    One of my most interesting experiences with Väinämöinen involved troubleshooting severe disk I/O degradation on my Aitta Trophy seedbox.

    Even with my account practically idle, I was seeing sequential write speeds as low as 1.9 MB/s.

    I submitted detailed fio benchmarks, and Väinämöinen compared my results against the provider's internal monitoring. It confirmed that the underlying disks were running at 99–100% utilization, pointing toward contention on shared storage rather than a problem caused by my account.

    What impressed me was the depth of the investigation. Instead of giving me a generic response, the AI correlated my benchmarks with actual infrastructure metrics, explained the suspected cause, and investigated alternative server placements.

    Not everything could be resolved immediately. The available servers could not accommodate my plan at the time, and Väinämöinen was transparent about that limitation.

    That's the kind of AI-assisted technical support I'd like to see more often.
