Need VPS I can upload OS installer ISO into (not load by URL)

Are there any rock solid VPS hosts that allow you to upload your custom ISO file directly into your control panel, attach it to your VPS, boot from it, and install your OS from it? I'm only finding load by URL and that's not what I want.

Have you considered uploading it just somewhere?

Also, I'm curious, what kind of OS doesn't have an ISO available on a URL?

I'm an idiot and skipped custom, brainfart

    Funky. Didn't know.

    But even 6 is available

But yeah my brain skipped custom. Makes more sense.

Worst case I would spin up a shitty Webserver anywhere, even from home and serve it from there. 🤷‍♂️

    Hi @infrabuyer,

Directly uploading a custom ISO from your computer into a VPS control panel can be quite complicated, especially with large ISO files. That's why many virtualization platforms rely on ISO downloads via URL instead.

At VenoCloud, we can offer you a simple alternative.

If you can provide a direct download URL for your custom ISO, we can download it to our ISO server and make it available for your VPS. You can then attach the ISO, boot from it, and install your preferred operating system.

Our VPS Basic plan in Frankfurt, Germany, starts at just $3.90/month and includes:

    • 1 vCPU
    • 1GB DDR5 RAM
    • 30GB NVMe SSD
    • 10Gbps network port
    • Unmetered traffic
    • IPv4 + IPv6 included
    • KVM virtualization
    • Full root access

If you're interested, simply register and open a support ticket with your ISO download URL. We'll be happy to help you get it set up.

    1. Install VPS with template.
    2. Upload the ISO into the VPS itself.
    3. Run an HTTP server in the VPS serving the ISO.
    4. Enter the ISO URI into the panel.

How about just upload iso into some S3 service like Backblaze, cloudflare R2 and get direct link to use. Just cost you some click if you have account already.
