Comments
yes my VPS in LV is also down MIA is OK
All my VPS's are in LV, so maybe (hopefully) just LV.
also down in LV.. think this is the third or fourth time this year for me, very frustrating.
Looks like they got the home page back up, cannot get to client area though. At least we know someone is working on it.
My VPS came back up about 40 minutes ago, after being down for more than 4 hours (and before that, somehow having its primary WAN eth device remapped last night, which caused a whole host of issues).
Would be nice if they kept their status page updated for this kind of thing too…
I think that is the thing that irks me the most. I do not expect 100% uptime, or even 99%, but they could keep us informed so we know what is going on and maybe provide us a ETA for restoration. One of these outages that lasted over a day for me turned out to be a mistake on their end so I could have been back up in like 30 minutes apparently instead of 24+ hours.
I see the customer back end is back up, but no update, VM's showing unknown status. Just left in the dark.
selling was an interesting move
It’s Sunday and I’m the only one on shift to handle all of the restoration
I’m sorry I’m not in ticket or sending any notifications, but it” gave short updates on discord between fixes.
I’ll write up whatever I can for an email and send it in the morning. I don’t know what caused it but I’ll share what I know.
Francisco
had a small outage.
Things should be all good now.
BTY. You should get a VPS here in Spring.
I can hook you up!
yup my lv is down too 🥲
You can ticket but at this point all but I think a single node is fine. Check if you have anything in your cdrom.
Francisco
Watcha got! Used to live in Spring -- Go Eagles! (Dueitt).
To be fair, when BuyVM is not having issues it is amazing and why I still stick around. It has been dicier in the recent months but hell, the internet is under attack and taking fire from all directions and all my other VPS's have also experienced downtime as a result (especially in the last few weeks).
The website is up and running on my end. There may have been a brief outage.
