Count me in for the EPYC giveaway, thanks VM6!
Count me in. I'd run an E8 as a WireGuard exit plus a small rsync target — 8TB at 10Gbps in Norwich is more headroom than I need, which is exactly why it's tempting.
Two things I couldn't find an answer to before pulling the trigger:
Your ToS — is running a private, authenticated WireGuard/OpenVPN endpoint for personal use permitted? Not reselling, not a public proxy, just my own traffic between two countries. The Budget range copy lists "VPNs", but the EPYC terms aren't stated anywhere I could find.
Renewal. The post says the discount covers the first term and then renews at normal price. Is that "normal price" locked at the time of order, or does it float with future price changes? And do I keep the same box and IP across renewal?
Thanks either way — the Norwich node spec is genuinely good for the money.
