Terrible uptime, terrible support, you aren't even aware when your own hosts are completely offline and treat it as just the customer's problem, you have additional downtime due to "DDoS attacks" (I suppose your "on-prem DDoS mitigation" doesn't work so well?)

I took full blame for the issues we had a couple months back, since then we haven't had any issues. And yes the on-prem wasn't great at all but we have since improved that by a lot. I don't mind you speaking on past experience as you are totally right, when you were a client we did have some issues but they are smoothed out now.

Your support "representatives" are worse than an AI agent, ngl. Even reading over PulsedMedia's threads I'd frankly rather have PulsedMedia's bot handling my ticket than a "support representative" who is unable to check the status of your own host machines.

Yeah I do understand that and I saw that, we have a fairly small team but everyone does have that information now to check the status on different nodes and whatever else may be needed.

I also would like to make things right if your interested and give you a VPS as I think that's what you had free on us for a month or so.

Why wasn't that available before? It was a technical support ticket. Your excuse afterwards was that the representative who handled it was just someone from your marketing team. Yet if that was the case, why would they answer my ticket, instruct me to perform useless tasks that I had already performed (and stated the results of in the initial ticket), then tell me to wait until the next morning, then continue ignore me throughout the day - when the service I had paid for was completely inaccessible?

And then when I joined your Discord you refused to look into the issue of my VPS (and the entire host server) being completely inaccessible, saying that you were working through your ticket queue. I don't mean to come across as entitled, but I'd hope from any normal hosting provider that an entire host machine being completely inaccessible/down would take priority in the ticket queue..?

Yes I do understand this, there was a few things that we had to fix support wise and I take blame, and yes the node was done I had to physically go and fix it but I was swamped that day, it did get sorted the day after I think but now we have better backup measures for remote access to a machine if it ever goes down so it can be fixed a lot quicker.

  • Thanks for sharing the Halloween offer.

I have a couple of questions before considering it:

    • Is Windows available on these VPS plans, and if yes, is the license included or billed separately?
    • Are the Ryzen 7950X plans running on dedicated cores or shared vCPUs?
    • Is the 20% monthly discount recurring for renewals, or only for the first billing cycle?

    Thanks!

  • Only Buffalo?

They are shared vCPUs, we don't offer VDS's atm, windows is available and we provide the license.
    20% monthly discount is recurring.

Is it unlimited data or fair usage? This is important.

Seriously considering getting 4 or 5 10Gbps VPS's and maxxing out bw to see if this claim holds up

You surely can if you would like, just make sure when ordering you select High bandwidth usage so you are put on the correct subnet without limits.

By default users are on our primary subnets which means going through GSL and our on-prem for DDoS protection so more strict filtering.

We have a option on checkout to select high bandwidth so if you plan on pushing a lot of traffic you would click that and then you would be on our Direct transit + on-Prem without GSL so you don't run into rate limit issues or anything else that could limit your traffic.

Really the only difference is GSL being a upstream or not but both have great ddos protection.

In terms of what the catch is, there isn't one. we get great deals with our upstream so no need to charge people an arm and a leg just to push some traffic.
