Made a free, open-source cPanel alternative - happy to help with setup/migration questions
Hi everyone,
I'm Khaled, the maintainer of GoAdmio, a free, open-source Linux web hosting control panel (a cPanel alternative). The code is on GitHub: https://github.com/goadmio
I'm not here to sell anything — the project is free. I just wanted to offer help to anyone in the Help section who's:
Looking for a free cPanel alternative
Trying to migrate from cPanel (full backup restore is supported)
Stuck on server setup, SSL, email, DNS, or PHP version issues
It runs on AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Debian, and Ubuntu, and needs a clean OS install with root SSH access. The project is newly public on GitHub — I'm actively building it out and welcome feedback and issues.
If you're working through a problem and GoAdmio might fit, drop your question here or reply to a thread and I'll do my best to help. Happy to answer technical questions about the panel or the migration process.

In terms of cybersecurity, on a scale from 0 to 10, how much should I love the multiple "sudo" commands in bash scripts? Honest question, I'm not an expert, I just find it somewhat surprising.
The year of cpanel alternatives
idk man look quite unrefined, doesn't even look that vibecoded, so can't even blame that...
Maybe put some screenshots of the project on your Github readme / website too
Why screenshots? Demo URL: https://demo.goadmio.com/go
LMAO
You could really use some vibecoding
Ohmygoad!
holy moly
You think you made a panel
but you did not, you made something else.
I wonder if codex would generate simply by prompting: “make ShitPanel by copying all cpanel/whm features. No tests. No mistakes.”.
And set codex to terra 6.1 with medium effort.
Screenshots uploaded, demo URL working now: https://demo.goadmio.com/go/
Another?
