    I've been looking for a modern alternative to cPanel/WHM, and AdminBolt looks like a great option to try. If I'm lucky enough to get one of the free VPS instances, I'd love to set it up with AdminBolt, test websites, email, DNS, SSL, and WordPress management, and then come back here to share my honest feedback — positive or constructive.

    VPS runs great as usual (normal RackNerd); 3 vCPU / 4 GB handled everything without complaint. Installation was the easiest part: one click on RackNerd ctrl, no SSH, no shell, and a few minutes later there's a working panel with web server, PHP, databases, email, and SSL ready. The panel is nice and simple, clean UI, nothing buried, and the basics (domains, SSL, files, services) all worked the first time.

    Node.js apps do run. I deployed one, and it served over HTTPS immediately, but it's Node 16 only. Refreshing for newer versions needs a CloudLinux repository, so anything modern (Next.js 14+ needs Node 18+) means a CloudLinux licence or installing Node outside the panel. Git deploys work via SSH keys and will clone from self-hosted GitLab, but pull-based, no webhooks.

    Good panel; flat per-server pricing makes sense. Fine for PHP/WordPress today; check the Node runtime first if that's your plan. Worth a trial.
