So KS-LE servers coming to catalog soon.

For some reason it says 2h ago, that might be some weird shit happened on CF workers, since I wasn't able to spot a difference from hours before, Limited stock to in stock for a few configs at most. I migrated the platform away from CF to a VPS now, so I can monitor and control the polling better.

Happy to see that you actually use it to some extend. I guess most are bots, but especially in the last few days ovhwatch.eu and ovhwatch.com got much more attention. They are both at 3k+ unique visitors a day as well as getting 140k requests a day.

A feature that people would love, I think, is to be able to set up a monitor, such as 'X server became available' or 'a new server appeared in the catalog', with notification by email (scaleway sends 300/month for free, for peanuts after that) or telegram or ntfy or anything convenient. In other words a checkserver.ovh that is actually easy to use.

It would be a paradigm change I guess but just an idea if you were looking for one. You could have a manual approval of accounts here on LET if you wish to control who can make one.

You technically can already do that by setting up a change detection using uptime kuma (I think it has that or you just vibe it) on a RSS-feed or just install any RSS-feed app on your phone and get a notification there. There are RSS-feeds for nearly everything, whole catalog, prereleases, single plans and such.

For example, if you want to be notified when a KS-1 gets restocked you can use

    https://ovhwatch.eu/rss?sub=DE&type=restock&plan=24sk102

    or more specific in LIM

    https://ovhwatch.eu/rss?sub=DE&loc=fra&plan=24sk102

tho I would need to extend the feature to support only getting notified for specific configurations settings, like how much RAM, storage and such.

Ah didn't see the rss feature, neat.

  • If everything works out correctly as when I tested it locally you can now narrow down the RSS-feed to a single configuration. You can find it in the configuration detail drawer at the bottom where the other RSS-feed for a whole plan is as well.

For example for a KS-2 · 32 GB · 4x 2TB HDD Enterprise Class · Limburg · FRA and only be notified on restock it would be

    https://ovhwatch.eu/rss?sub=DE&type=restock&cfg=24sk202.ram-32g-ecc-2133.softraid-4x2000sa@fra

Can they implement it to track VPS? It would be nice  !

Forgot to post this big disk KS-STOR in Germany, and the disks are in very good condition. Big thanks to @NicholasOXI for the server.

Yea, I don't hide/deny that, without Claude it simply wouldn't have been possible for me to do that in my freetime currently.

Since the website also doesn't process personal data, I don't bother much anyway. And at least for myself find that it worked out pretty well.
