Hi everyone,

Looking for 3 cheap VPS, preferably in different locations and networks. Nothing fancy, just reliable servers with good uptime.

VPS 1 & 2

  • 1 vCPU
  • 512 MB to 1 GB RAM
  • 10 GB SSD
  • 1 IPv4
  • 500 GB to 1 TB bandwidth/month
  • Good uptime and stable networking

No crazy specs needed. Reliability matters more than performance.

VPS 3

  • 1 vCPU
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 10–20 GB SSD
  • 1 IPv4
  • 5 TB bandwidth/month
  • Good uptime and stable networking

Preferred locations:

  • Finland
  • Netherlands
  • Germany
  • Romania
  • Lithuania
  • Poland
  • Switzerland
  • Iceland
  • Canada
  • Other European locations are welcome too.

For the third VPS, I'd prefer a more secure and reliable location and provider.

    I'd recommend @SKRIME but you cross out Amsterdam :pensive: and for Germany I really like @netcup nano/pico, @Hosteroid goodluck finding stock ive been waiting for months now otherwise yes thats a good option.

    I am in a similar position looking for such small boxes with a strict budget but haven't been able to find any outside of that.

    Thanks, but I don't need the Netherlands server. Anyway, if you want, I'll look into that as well. Also, isn't the disk speed a little slow ( Yes it is usable and no worries on it but... ) ?

    Nope, those servers aren't for Commonside. But what exactly makes it "slop"? Quite a bold claim without any actual reasoning.

    they are for testing Byzantine fault tolerant consensus and cross region state replication under asymmetric network partitions. Starting with smaller VPSs to checl provider reliability before moving to larger plans. Also testing a custom distributed system that doesnt require much hardware at this stage.
