[Request] EU VPS/VDS for RustFS backup storage | 200–300GB | EPYC 9005 / Ryzen 9950X preferred
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a VPS or VDS in Europe to run RustFS, an S3-compatible object storage service, primarily for backups. I may also host a low-volume personal mail server on the same machine. This is not for marketing or bulk email.
Preferred specifications:
- AMD EPYC 9005 series or Ryzen 9 9950X series
- 200–300GB of storage to start, preferably NVMe on RAID 10
- Reliable disk performance and the option to expand storage later
- Dedicated IPv4 with configurable rDNS/PTR; IPv6 preferred
- Outbound TCP port 25 available, or enabled after verification
Please confirm that your AUP permits both backup storage and a personal mail server. I'll configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC and follow your anti-abuse requirements.
Providers, please send me your best quote, including the location, vCPU/RAM, storage configuration, monthly and annual prices, setup fees, bandwidth allowance, storage expansion options, and any port 25 restrictions. A test IP would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You need those for low-volume personal use?
Hmmm, a CEO with science reports
For personal use, 1 CPU core, 2 GB of RAM, and 40 GB of storage are more than enough.
Thanks for asking. I should clarify that personal email is only a secondary use case. My main purpose is to run RustFS, an S3-compatible object storage service written in Rust, for backups. I'd only use the mail server for normal, low-volume personal email, which is why I asked about outbound port 25.
The 200–300GB storage requirement is my starting capacity. EPYC 9005 or Ryzen 9950X is a preference, not a strict requirement. Disk reliability, sustained I/O performance, and the ability to expand storage later matter more to me.
I'm happy to consider suitable alternatives. Providers are welcome to send me a quote.

budget ?
I don't know much about budgets.
Anyway, @AirnodeHosting is still running a deal where you can get a server, and you can get 100 GB of S3 storage from @Pjottertjah for 0.50 euros. If you have a $20 a month budget, you can go all in with @Pjottertjah
If you are interested in an NL 9950x vps, and port 25 blocked is fine for you, then we can offer you the below plans.

If you prefer to reduce ram and have more nvme, that’s also possible. Otherwise, if you want smaller plans, you can also do that, and add additional nvme for $1 per 20gb.
