[REQUEST] 10Gbps dedicated in Germany or SE/Central Europe – 100TB+/mo – up to €150

Hi all,

I'm looking for a dedicated server in Europe, ideally as close to Turkey/Istanbul as possible (low latency to TR matters most).

Preferred locations:

  • Germany (Frankfurt preferred, any German DC is fine)
  • Bulgaria (Sofia), Romania (Bucharest), Greece
  • Austria (Vienna), Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia
  • Netherlands also OK if the price/traffic is clearly better

Network – the important part:

  • 10Gbps port (shared is OK if you're honest about real sustained capacity)
  • At least 100TB/month included (unmetered even better)
  • Please state clearly: is traffic counted in+out or outbound only, and what happens above the limit (throttle / €/TB / suspension)?
  • Good routing to Turkish ISPs (Türk Telekom, Turkcell Superonline, Vodafone TR). A test IP / looking glass is a big plus.

Use case:
Private media streaming (Plex/Jellyfin) for a small user base, Usenet downloads, and a few web apps/APIs (Next.js, Docker).
Traffic is sustained outbound streaming, not bursty. Some clients will need on-the-fly transcoding (older TVs, browsers, subtitle burn-in).
No public file hosting, no torrent tracker. Please confirm this is OK under your AUP.

Hardware:
Must have:

  • CPU: 8+ cores, reasonably modern (Xeon E-2xxx / Ryzen / EPYC / E5 v4 also fine)
  • RAM: 64GB+
  • Storage: 2TB+ NVMe/SSD
  • 1x IPv4, monthly billing, no long contract

Nice to have:

  • Strong plus: Intel CPU with iGPU / Quick Sync for hardware transcoding (e.g. E-2288G, E-2388G, i7/i9 desktop) – offers with Quick Sync will be preferred
  • If no iGPU: a strong CPU (16+ cores) so software transcoding is not a bottleneck
  • 128GB RAM
  • Extra HDD for cache/storage
  • IPMI/KVM, IPv6
  • Low or no setup fee, a trial or a refund window

Budget:
Up to €150/month all-in (lower is better – best value per € wins). Around €100 for a solid offer would be ideal; I'll go up to €150 for Quick Sync, 128GB RAM or a very good location/route to Turkey.

Please include in your reply:

  • Location + datacenter
  • Full specs and price (any setup fee, VAT handling for a non-EU customer)
  • Exact traffic terms (TB included, in/out accounting, overage policy)
  • Test IP / looking glass
  • Payment methods

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Melbicom might have something that could potentially work in Sofia:
    CPU Xeon E-2276G 3.80 GHz (6 core)
    RAM 64GB
    Storage 2x1000GB NVME
    Bandwidth 10Gbit/s
    Data transfer 50TB
    €183,00 EUR/month

In case you'd like to check that or any other servers: https://www.melbicom.net/dedicatedserver/

    Hi,
We have two options in Frankfurt, Germany. Both come with a dedicated 1Gbps port and unmetered traffic. I know you asked for 10Gbps, but figured these might still be worth considering.
    Option 1 – Dedicated Server | $150/month

    • Location: Frankfurt, Germany
    • CPU: Intel Xeon E-2388G (8 cores / 16 threads)
    • RAM: 64GB DDR4 ECC 3200MHz
    • Storage: 2 × 960GB Enterprise NVMe SSD (Software RAID)
    • Public Network: 1Gbps dedicated, guaranteed, unmetered
    • Private Network: 1Gbps guaranteed, unmetered
    • IPv4 + IPv6
    • Setup Fee: $100 one-time
      Option 2 – VDS | $100/month

    • Location: Frankfurt, Germany

    • CPU: Intel Xeon E-2388G
    • RAM: 64GB
    • Storage: 2TB NVMe
    • Network: 1Gbps dedicated, unmetered
    • IPv4 + IPv6
    • Setup Fee: $0
Both options are available with monthly billing.
The dedicated server would be the better choice if you're planning to use Intel Quick Sync for transcoding. The VDS is the cheaper option, but hardware transcoding access isn't included.
For either option, register at https://venocloud.com/ and open a sales ticket mentioning this LowEndTalk thread. We'll arrange the server at the prices above.
