    I remember my first bigtime freelance project in silicon valley. Had to do a presentation for next morning and needed to finish some powerpoints, but due to an earth quake the powergrid went down. Instead of crying in my hotel room and waiting for the power to get on, i just went to my datacenter and plugged my laptop there as DC's have their visitors rooms with their own power backup and also great coffee machines. That helped me thru the night and i could finish my powerpoint on time for Netapp.

    Engineers think differently, solution based reasoning I call it. Or 'JBF' 'jan boere fluitjes' logica in dutch.

    I remember my first bigtime freelance project in silicon valley. Had to do a presentation for next morning and needed to finish some powerpoints, but due to an earth quake the powergrid went down. Instead of crying in my hotel room and waiting for the power to get on, i just went to my datacenter and plugged my laptop there as DC's have their visitors rooms with their own power backup and also great coffee machines. That helped me thru the night and i could finish my powerpoint on time for Netapp.

    Engineers think differently, solution based reasoning I call it. Or 'JBF' 'jan boere fluitjes' logica in dutch.

    There are only problems seeking a solution, or they are not a problem ;) It's only a matter of time, miracles we'll perform every day but impossibilities take just a little bit longer ;)
