  • How and did you solve 50% CPU steal time on the other topic?

Also, what is AUP on CPU? 50% all time is ok or not?

@SKRIME Why do you require a €5 prepayment before ordering a VPS product? Can't we just pay with PayPal or something similar? This requirement is absurd!

    btw, how is this absurd?

If you top up 1€ with PayPal, Skrime has to pay 0,35€ + 2,49% in fees, which lead to him getting 0,63€. If you continue to do this over a course of 5 months for example, he only receives 3,15€.

If you rather top up 5€ with PayPal, Skrime also has to pay 0,35€ + 2,49% in fees, which lead to him getting 4,53€ in this case. That's 1,38€ more than if you topped up 1€ each month.

If you don't know the fees of the payment gateway you want to use, don't call it absurd.

absurd might be strong but i appreciated the heads-up. i was going to pick up their cheapest unit annually for another proxy host but had planned to purchase a single month first to evaluate. paying 5 bucks to test a 1.50 unit is hardly a deal and i'm vaguely annoyed the provider didn't mention that when i asked him some questions via dm.

i'm also surprised there's no let rule about disclosing minimum payments in offer posts.

afaik, the top up is possible for less than 5€, it's just PayPal taking a huge cut. Apple Pay works for example if you want to top up just 1€

  • let10 expired?

  • Is it possible to get block storage attached to VPS? The pricing is great but I would like to buy storage as well ~10TB :)

Calling it "absurd" comes down to the fact that they never disclosed or explained this mandatory top-up requirement on the "Top Up Balance" page. As consumers, we have the right to know, and they have an duty and obligation to provide clear disclosure.

Furthermore, regarding your claim that top-ups under €5 are possible via Apple Pay—that simply isn't true in practice. The top-up page blocks any attempt to add less than €5 altogether.

Sorry, you are right, how could I, definitely not working

tbh, I might need to correct myself. Maybe you must top up at least 5€, I can even top up 1€ with PayPal. Maybe this is a new account restriction @SKRIME?
