For me somehow the One Click App installation took about 35 minutes (which is expected according to ctrl) but you can really appreciate the speed of the true one click to install experience inside AdminBolt. Wordpress took no more than 2 minutes to install from picking the options up to being able to log in. It's nice to see a direct Cloudflare integration too. I do wish Caddy was a web server option too. Thanks @dustinc !

Hi @yoshiki -- Glad you took it a step further and got WordPress up and running too, under 2 minutes is nice :) The Cloudflare integration is a great touch as well.

Appreciate the feedback! Thank You for trying it out and sharing your experience.

    AdminBolt review.

Install takes about 5-10min (even it says 30-60minutes). Clean login information after install. Easy to edit files with filemanager inside adminbolt. Did try also blocking bots from menus. Has way to change look to more dark, which is good.

After install SSL doesnt work. in first login. For me atleast. Did try install adminbolt 2 times.

Did also try hosting webpages to other, after second install. Can choose this option when first login after install. Easy to make customers account. And has default usage limits and unlimited also.

Impersonating user, when opening first users menus, left menus dont work ok in first click. But after using them from middlle of page left part menus start also work ok.

Liking so far. Need to test more later.

    Thank you.

Hi @Tandoor -- Thank You for taking the time to test it out and share the details! Glad you're liking it so far, and nice to see you've explored everything from the file manager to creating customer accounts, too :)

Appreciate you sharing both what worked well and where you ran into trouble -- that helps the AdminBolt team continue improving!

Thank you for the giveaway Racknerd and Adminbolt.

The one click install was fast (15 mins) and I was able to import my domain from cloudflare and Install wordpress.

One thing you should consider adding is the ability to host python and nodejs web apps.

    Thanks.

Hi @frosty9649 -- You're very welcome! Great to hear you got your domain imported from Cloudflare and WordPress up and running smoothly :)

Python and Node.js app support would certainly open up more use cases! @Chris_AdminBolt may be able to share more on that. Thank You for trying it out and sharing the suggestion!

ADMINBOLT - THE MODERN WEB HOSTING CONTROL PANEL!

Curious about this, hope this one can replace my current CPanel that have been very expensive for years!

Does this come with automation migration from CPanel? Hope you guys make it work for the live migrations!

Hi @penguinunix -- You're certainly not alone in your thinking! Pricing is one part of it, but security and the underlying architecture matter too imo. Between April's critical authentication bypass vulnerability, and the SQL injection and stored XSS disclosures since May, there's a strong case for building on established framework protections from day one. That's part of what makes AdminBolt's modern foundation appealing to us :) AdminBolt being built on a modern framework from the ground up (versus continuing to build on a legacy framework), along with continuous security auditing by Rack911Labs, gives us additional confidence in what they're building too.

On the migration side, AdminBolt offers an in-place conversion from cPanel/WHM, so you can switch on an existing cPanel server without provisioning another server and moving accounts over. That's a big plus for providers and server administrators considering a change.

We are definitely in a very exciting era, like I said before, competition in the hosting control panel market is a very, very good thing and will only benefit the community and consumers at the end of the day. :)

    ADMINBOLT - GREAT CPANEL ALTERNATIVE!

Late on this one as well. Thread is so popular! haha. But going over the demo for adminbolt it looks awesome! I'm a sucker for control panels, and have yet to settle on something at least due to cost. So just been using shared hosting

Hi @HuntersPad -- This sounds right up your alley! Knowing your background, I'd really like to see you get your hands on AdminBolt and hear what you think :) If you have a VPS available, you can always install it and take advantage of their 30-day free trial too.

The good news is we're not even halfway through the giveaways yet! I'll be rooting for ya, stay active in the thread and keep an eye on my latest posts. You never know when the next round will drop ;)
