Looking for ~50TB HDD storage servers (VPS/VDS or dedicated), EU preferred

Hi LowEndTalk,

I’m after an affordable HDD-based setup with around 50TB of usable storage, and I’d like to compare offers from a few providers. I’m flexible on configuration.

What I need:

Storage: around 50TB usable, HDD preferred, multi-drive setups fine
Server type: VPS/VDS or dedicated only
CPU: basic is fine
RAM: 4-16GB per server, depending on the setup
Network: 1Gbps port minimum
Bandwidth: unlimited preferred, high-bandwidth metered plans OK
Location: Europe preferred, other locations welcome
OS: Ubuntu preferred
Billing: monthly preferred
Budget: Ideally around $80/month total for approximately 50TB of usable storage, but I’m open to higher or lower offers depending on capacity, bandwidth, performance and overall value.

It’s for long-term media storage and streaming through Jellyfin, Plex or Emby, plus the occasional direct download. What matters most to me is capacity, reliable HDD performance, network connectivity and price.

I’m happy to split the 50TB across several VPS/VDS instances or dedicated servers instead of one big machine. A handful of smaller servers would also spread out the traffic and disk I/O. Whatever gives the best mix of performance, reliability and cost works for me, so single-server and multi-server offers are both welcome.

Please include in your offer:

Usable HDD capacity and disk layout
Raw vs usable capacity after RAID, if applicable
CPU, RAM and virtualization type (for VPS/VDS)
Port speed and monthly bandwidth
Monthly price, setup fee and overage charges
Datacenter location
Whether I can add storage or servers later
