  By the way, we are testing our new managed databases, starting with PostgreSQL. I think feature set came out pretty good.

  

  Naturally, we ran some benchmarks. DO and UpCloud just was first two we tested against. And now I look at our €6 starting price a bit differently

  Accept crypto? What is ipv6 story and where does it land? A decent correct allocation is load bearing, not a single IPv6 address

  Both in progress.

  Crypto, we are in KYB with CoinGate, waiting for them.

  IPv6, now it's /128 per VM. We have a lot of v6, problem is not addresses, it's routing inside cluster. We didn't expect v6 to be so wanted, so it was done on the side. Routed /64 per VM needs serious rework, but it's on our list now.

  Hey, new release is out, here is the list:

  • [New] New addresses now come also from 185.236.9.0/24.

  • [New] Reverse DNS for every public address. Set reverse DNS (PTR) for a server

    • Every address gets PTR by default, vm-….vm.serverscamp.com for servers and router-….static.serverscamp.com for routers.
    • You can change it with the pencil on Floating IPs, Routers or server page.
    • Name stays with the address, if you move floating IP to another server, name moves too. When you release the address, name is removed.

  • [Improved] CPU Guard for Burst servers. How throttling works (CPU Guard)

    • New server has 45 minutes before guard can limit it.
    • Guaranteed CPU is now from 25% to 50%, depends on plan.
    • Alert comes only if server is held at guaranteed CPU for 10 minutes or more.
