Tempted by D1 (despite being in Germany, €9/y is really good), but I'm not sure what I'd do with 3 vCPUs but only 1 GB RAM.

  Don't.

  To quote myself

Ive never seen io errors while update in the package manager, constant timeouts on https connections. By default well over 30% package loss.

after that got fixed, i set up as a reverse proxy for a page and had to remove it as options as its really slow. It takes ages to load the page. Even using ssh while having the nws.sh is like molasses.

My bad, honestly had 10 € stuck in my head for some reason. Thanks a lot for pointing it out!
Since I can no longer edit the main post, please note that all total prices are reduced by 5 €:
  • D-1: 10 € total
  • B-3: 20 € total
  • L-4: 25 € total
Never intended to profit off this, just want to pass the servers on to good hands rather than letting them go to waste.
