I think asking for utility bill is still reasonable.... OVH and Hetzner have asked me Govt issued IDs, Bank statements.... If I remember correctly I think OVH KYC team even called me on my phone number once !!
Edit: Even paypal asked me to send them debit card statements which I was using with them. But my bank does not provide separate debit card statements !! Is it only me who attracts KYC everywhere?? or do I have a companion??
yes, it is reasonable in a way. but Hetzner and they had their own KYC system when i tried Hetzner. this one just asks me to send it through a support ticket. never done or seen something like this before.
GreenCloud does the same fwiw (and they claim that all documents are automatically deleted after 7 days)
