  1. There was a judgment in a US court where they said someone was allowed to take over the fmovies.to domain. They never got it.
  2. fmovies.to didn't shut down because of domain issues. Fmovies and ALL their sister sites shut down when the Vietnamese government arrested the operators.
  3. 1337x still has their .to domain. Rarbg's .to domain was never actioned in any way. The same is true of many other sites like sflix, torrentgalaxy, etc.

  There are more resilient TLDs: .ch, .is, .ru, .tv, .su, .st, and plenty more.

  And a very relevant factor is how much attention you are attracting (especially from the US government). Like TPB in the early to mid-2010s, they were a hot potato because the US government pressured anyone who dared touch it, but nobody is going to reach that kind of attention ever again [for copyright reasons]. I'm confident of it.

  Hell, even TPB is doing just fine with domains now. They've had the .org domain forever despite the .org registry being operated by an American entity.

  If you're looking for a DMCA ignored registrar, just use Namecheap.
  However if you fear u might be subject to court proceedings, stay away from US and Europe, especiale US.

  Not really, Namecheap isn't resistant. Njalla or Flokinet but Njalla sometimes suspends, so probably Flokinet

  AFAIK, Namecheap is notoriously easy to social engineer into taking down domains on dubious if any grounds. I would consider them one of the weaker options in this context.

  What kind of problems have you experienced? I've never had any problems with them and DMCA.
  They're even one of the few registrars who state they'll take no action when they're only the registrar.

Due to this, we will not take restrictive action in order to avoid false-positive cases. This policy particularly affects copyright/DMCA, email abuse/spam, fraud, malware/hacking activity, etc.
