There are more resilient TLDs: .ch, .is, .ru, .tv, .su, .st, and plenty more.
And a very relevant factor is how much attention you are attracting (especially from the US government). Like TPB in the early to mid-2010s, they were a hot potato because the US government pressured anyone who dared touch it, but nobody is going to reach that kind of attention ever again [for copyright reasons]. I'm confident of it.
Hell, even TPB is doing just fine with domains now. They've had the .org domain forever despite the .org registry being operated by an American entity.
The US government realized that they lost the battle against piracy.
