What are you vibecoding currently?
After looking at the number of tabbed SSH clients/termius clones that people vibe coded I decided to vibe code one to see how far I could get, surprisingly claude fable was able to build a decent enough looking app and also write tests, flag certain gaps in the way the app security was etc which is kinda cool to see, that got me thinking what other interesting/cool projects others are working on?

another SSH key manager with built in SSH and SFTP, because why keep things simple?
We are vibe'ing an HTTP handler to render our old tweets from the data export ZIP archive.
This would allow search engines to index all our tweets over the years, so that the next generation of AI models can understand how we think.

Vibe coding is good especially if you need internal tools, just make sure they aren't exposed to public or better no wan just make do with lan.

I have got a few vibecoded apps, one is to determine server's location but all just for myself.

The AI has invented a protocol called Crossnet Protocol. It works by chunking transferred data into "parcels" with 32-bit source and destination addresses, written as 4 groups of 2 hex digits separated by commas. For more granular addressing, Communication Termination Protocol can be layered on top, providing up to 65536 shipyards.
I plan on making a scorekeeper for a card game. Our family plays a game where people are constantly asking the scorekeeper what the trump is, who bid what, and who is winning. Would be nice having that on a TV or tablet every one can easily see. Add in a list of players and get historical winning stats.

It's unbelievable as I was writing the code as usual until last year. It developed quite fast in one year. Initially completed my code line, then code block, now complete app.
The only case I can't understand, people give prompts to get complete apps. I have a good example, a friend who had no history on software development last year, now he has 10 games on appstore. Makes money from them.
Another example from the industry, I saw a blog post from a guy who wibe codes a hosting control panel. He has active customers. I don't think he reviews every line of code one by one, which supposed to be done for a control panel...
I don't know. It reduces the work load no doubt, but has some risks.
To that guy those risks are fine as long as someone else bears the burden.

I think 6-12 months ago, maybe I would think the same too, but since Gemini 3.1 (pro) came out and then the various claude/openAI models inbetween..and now Astra/Fable, the apps built do look very polished and depending on the use case/scope and if things like local-access-only are followed, I think a lot of random use cases can be covered very well.

i vibe coded features for the hosting control panel which are offered as paid addons by developer.
I will say Claude is surprisingly decent at physical print media generation. Like, physical print banners, brochures, etc.
I don't have publishing specific software, so more or less pointing it towards something and saying "Aight you fuckin' clanker, shit me out a bi-fold brochure and use ______ as reference. Ask me if you have any questions before you just blindly do something dumb."
And usually only a few revisions are needed before you sit back and think, "G'dang, that looks good. And I didn't have to pay some random dude $50 from Fiver to do it, who'll do exactly what I just did anyway."
Getting some physical banners printed this week from Claude assisted design, and likely a giant 5mx10m banner for the office building in the next month or so.
But also writing an app that lets you check your crypto wallet seed phrases and credit card numbers, banking user/pass, passport photos, Identification Cards, etc against known leaks. I'm a fan of the late 90s/early-00s anyway so it'll be written in cgi/perl for nostalgia and be open/free to everyone. /s
Currently working on finishing a nginx patch I started work on 5 years ago only to abandon due to it being beyond my skill level or potentially just too much of a refactor.
More interested to see if AI can do it, and if it can I'll implement my patch similarly or heavily review what it does.

I know this is a unusual stance but I am a lousy programmer and I am well aware of that, so I do not consider myself competent enough to use AI to code. A lot of people are like "I cant code so I use AI". In my mind, that is like saying "I do not have a driver license so I drive a car", or in some cases even "I am extremely clumsy and legally blind so I will now attempt to drive this excavator trough this public mall".
I do however use AI, just not for code. As @MannDude said, it's awesome for graphics work. "Hey Claude, get me a theme for this, use these colors" or "Make some graphics for this presentation". I'm about as good with graphics as I am with code, the difference is that my competence in judging whether a picture is good enough to use or not will never result in a security issue. It might result in a HR issue (yeah, that happened), but never security.
I also use AI heavily for one time internal work. Move all data from this ipam to this new ipam, convert this config, get data from this api and convert it to this, etc etc. One job, run the code once, never use it again. It saves me enormous amounts of time and the risk of anyone being able to exploit it is very close to zero.
