USA Frantech Replacement

Looking for a VPS to replace my 512mb LV Frantech VPS that I’ve used for years.

Requirements:
Under $36 a year, West Coast USA location, >99.9% uptime, 1Gbps port, SSD storage, non-changing recurring subscription prices, and a non-Virtualizor control panel.

I would prefer annual billing and a provider that has lasted for atleast a year, if only @MannDude provided his $17.76 deal this year :'( …

    The new ownership & not having a price lock worries me. I also have a few months left in my subscription so I thought it would also just be nice to have a secondary VPS for a personal proxy for a bit as I’m currently in China. (I’m a red blooded American, just here for shits and giggles but I’m pretty sure I might’ve gotten my Frantech VPS’s IP restricted or something by using just Wireguard since I wasn’t aware how strict the GFW was prior to coming here)
    I’m planning on migrating everything from the Frantech/BuyVM VPS to the new provider’s VPS when I actually have more free time :/

    I'll put my hat in the ring, but I don't quite make the cut on all counts.

    • Under $36 a year: $36/year IPv6-only, $48/year if you want IPv4. I do have some extra features if you want to use IPv4 without paying the price, though.

      • West Coast USA location: Spokane, Washington, which is not terribly far from the coast.
      • >99.9% uptime: I think I've been over 3 nines every month except one with scheduled maintenance and one with a partial outage. There's more work to do on the reliability front, but I haven't had any complaints yet.
      • 1Gbps port: Sadly, no. 100Mbit/sec shared. I haven't had enough usage to justify going to gigabit.
      • SSD storage: I did switch over to SSDs in new hosts. I/O performance still isn't great.
      • non-changing recurring subscription prices: I have no plans to raise prices. It helps having them start a little higher.
      • non-Virtualizor control panel: No control panel currently (you SSH to the host for serial console, start, and stop.) When I have a control panel, it'll be one that I wrote.

Annual billing is no problem. Slow Servers has been around since January, but I've had SporeStack going for nine years, so maybe that counts for something?

    The smallest plan is 768MB with 24GB of disk and 384GB of transfer. That plan costs $36/year. Extra transfer is $12 per 512GB, per year. 1x IPv4 is $12 per year.

    Since I am familiar with you, if you're interested I'm happy to give you a free month trial. There's definitely cheaper hosts around and maybe some that are a better fit, but Slow Servers might be worthy of your consideration.

    Edit: I actually may not be familiar with you. I think you just share a profile picture with someone else. Still, for you I'm willing to do a month free trial. I haven't been offering that as much lately because I keep getting people who use the trial but don't say anything at the end of it.

    China... oh the Chinese firewall has DPI, normal Wireguard/OVPN and normal proxys are already borked/blocked. You need something more like VLess or Xray to even access it

    1，wireguard is not working in China, GFW will block your IP very soon
    2，any none China-optimise bandwidth is sh!t for proxy in China

    It is OOS, but something super tiny like 512 MB or 1 GB that I can do today, and not too many of those because some nodes do have 1 or 2 GB available, but many do not!

    Actually, we just added an OOS Location Queue System :sweat_smile:

    But wireguard does have legit business usages. So How can they determine if its legit traffic or just someone trying to bypass?
