I'm looking for a large storage VPS.
I'd like to purchase a large storage VPS (it doesn't necessarily have to be a dedicated VPS, as long as it has ample storage space, backup capabilities, and fast speeds), with quarterly payments. I plan to use it for temporary migrations and backups, so fast access speeds are essential. My budget is around $20 USD, and I need approximately 300GB of storage, but 500GB would be even better.

EDIT2 : For that price range (if that is monthly) atm there is either dedicated server from kimsufi ks-1 or 4 or ks-5 2x450 ssd or V2 KVM FAT Slice 2 from servarica with 500gb nvme, there is also contabo storage and netcup RS 2000 G12 or VPS 2000 G12, but you should always try to find yabs online before buy.

Uhum. In which geo-region? because, you see, fast access speed in say, Japan may well be crappy slow in say, Argentina.

does anyone know what their "additional verification" consists of? rather not waste my time if it's picture id or something.
with my first order i had to open a ticket and they told me to write them an e-mail of my paypal e-mail adress as additonal verification. i would guess thats against fraud?

They actually waved it completely for me when I bitched about the KYC request here. I pointed out that I created the account raw dog (no vpn), paid with google pay, and used a CC that matched the name I used when creating the account, so they could be pretty sure they knew who I was.
They asked me send a photo of me holding my credit card.... I asked them to delete my account instead.

I think they dont have a fixed method. Its case by case basis maybe. I need to understand how providers here mark first order as fraud. Like almost with 8 to 10 providers, I was asked for KYC when order was marked fraud. Out of them if I remember correctly digitalfyre did not ask for any kyc, I shared my github link thats it. Then hostbilby I contacted their support, they allowed me without anything. Also when I had purchased namecrane email hosting, it was marked as fraud, I contacted their support, I dont remember them asking anything, they allowed me after 3 days as it was a weekend. OVH is asking me aadhar ID + a utility bill or bank statement. Hetzner asked me aadhar + live photo.
Only few providers like vultr, onidel, advinservers, terabix, nolimitcloud have not asked me for any ID and have not marked my order as fraud.
Edit: I think hetzner asked for drivers license.
