⚠️ My Experience with AxusHost – Over a Month Waiting for a Promised Refund

I want to share my personal experience with AxusHost with the community.

I am no longer using their services. I was explicitly promised a refund for services I had already paid for. This refund was promised to me directly during my communication with the owner of AxusHost, @djunior.

I have now been waiting for over a month, and I still have not received my money. Despite repeatedly contacting and following up with @djunior, I keep getting told to wait, while the refund continues to be postponed.

On top of this, I experienced serious network problems and outages, which ultimately contributed to my decision to stop using the service.

What disappoints me most is that a refund that was clearly promised has still not been paid after more than a month. I have been patient, followed up multiple times, and given more than enough time for this matter to be resolved.

I am sharing this so that the community is aware of my experience and can make their own judgment.

If @djunior / AxusHost completes the promised refund, I will of course update this post accordingly.

    Hi Rico61?,

A few points I would like to clarify:

    • First, the refund was offered by me as compensation for the issues you experienced. We could have chosen to offer a prorated refund, especially considering that the servers were actively used for a period of time, with approximately 5–10 Gbit/s of traffic per server. Instead, we decided to offer a full refund for all 11 servers, which is significantly more than a standard prorated refund would have been.

    • Second, you are currently still actively using two servers with us. Both servers have 10G ports and are being used quite heavily. So the statement that you are "no longer using their services" is not entirely accurate.

Regarding posting this here: that is completely fine. This is a public forum and everyone is free to share their experience. However, posting here will not speed up the refund process or change the arrangement that has already been made between us.

And yes, I fully acknowledge that the refund was promised on August 25 and that it has taken longer than originally expected. We currently have several refunds that need to be processed, alongside our normal operational workload.

That does not change our commitment. The goal remains the same: everyone to whom we have offered a refund will receive it, and they can then continue running their services elsewhere.

I offered the full refund voluntarily because we wanted to resolve the situation properly, and we intend to follow through on that commitment.

I won't make any more comments or updates in this thread, I will speak to the client privately and not here. Love.

Thank you for publicly confirming that the full refund was promised on August 25 and that it is overdue.

I want to clarify one important point: the two servers I am currently using are separate services that I continue to pay for. They have nothing to do with the refund that was already agreed for the other 11 servers. Therefore, I don't see how their current usage is relevant to an outstanding refund that was promised weeks ago.

I also never claimed that posting here would speed anything up. I posted here simply to share my experience and because, despite several promised dates and repeated assurances that the payment would be made “today,” “tomorrow,” or “within a few hours,” I still have not received the refund.

I appreciate that you offered a full refund rather than a prorated one. However, once that refund was offered and accepted, the issue is no longer whether it was voluntary — the issue is that it has repeatedly been promised but has still not been paid.

I am not asking for further explanations or new promises. I am simply asking for the agreed €2,750 refund to finally be processed.

Once the refund has actually been received, I will also publicly confirm that the matter has been resolved.

You told: I am no longer using their services. What's not true.

I make sure 100% it's not true too. Usually people not publishing their experience while it not finished, while issue not resolved. That's one more way to try force your refund. But the amount not a $7/y, I understand your concern.

I understand your point, and I already clarified that my wording about “not using their services anymore” was not 100% precise. I should have phrased that differently.

However, I disagree with the second point. Sharing an ongoing experience publicly does not automatically mean that the intention is to force or pressure someone into paying. This situation has been ongoing since August 25, with the refund repeatedly being postponed and several different timeframes being given without the payment actually being completed.

If the refund had only been delayed by a few days, I would completely understand your argument. But after weeks of waiting for €2,750 and repeated assurances that it would be paid, I believe it is reasonable to share the situation as it currently stands.

I have also said clearly that once the refund is received, I will publicly update the thread and confirm that the issue has been resolved. My intention is to describe my experience accurately — including both the negative and, once resolved, the positive outcome.

    Edit:

Just to clarify the point about the two active servers: I personally no longer use AxusHost's services. I previously had more than 18 servers, some of which were also used by friends. If two servers are still active, they are being used by friends, not by me personally.
I acknowledge that my original wording was not precise enough, and I should have made that distinction from the beginning.
I just wanted to clarify this for the sake of accuracy and fairness. Everything else regarding the refund has already been explained above, so I will leave it at that and update the thread once the refund has been received.

Somehow every shitty provider manages to respond here instantly but can't fulfill the promise to their customer. Quite interesting.
