Half of our fleet is hardware we own outright and colocate ourselves in UK data centres, and we're moving further in that direction as we go. Owning the kit means nobody else sets our costs or decides when we get to upgrade, and the savings go into the pricing rather than into a middleman.
The hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and EPYC platforms, PCIe Gen5 NVMe throughout, 10Gbps uplinks as standard. Two locations Coventry, plus our own space in Norwich. Both are DDoS-protected, sits under 9ms to LD4 and has solid routes into LINX. Everything is proper KVM under VirtFusion with dedicated resources, and if you'd rather have the whole machine, we do bare metal too.

Yes, but sadly a lot of countries snoop and it's outside of the VPS provider's control. That's why it's vital to use protocol-level encryption.

I'd love to get my hands on a VPS! My main plan is to set up a personal blog where I can share my tech notes, learning journeys, and some side projects.
