You're on a VPS, if you want guaranteed performance I would recommend purchasing our VDS lineup.

If my VPS is getting this CPU performance on this particular node, getting a VDS would not change anything, considering this particular node is oversold to hell and back. You do you, I will keep not recommending your services.
6k multi core on an 8 vCPU, 0% load machine, is simply unnaceptable and you know it.

You should be able to burst CPU to max performance on a VPS(under fair use) just not 24/7 like with VDS. Neither of those should suffer from performance degradation, that's on your side, either poor capacity management or overselling.

I think that VPS should be able to handle it. I didn't blame you, my comment was addressed to gatewaysentry. If your CPU usage was in line with what the average usage the policy allows there should be no degradation, it's the problem on the provider side like I said.
