Today we wanted to share something a little different from our usual hosting offers.

We’re happy to introduce Deplo, an open-source deployment platform designed to make running applications on your own VPS, dedicated server or hardware significantly easier.

The idea is simple:
Connect your repository → pick your server → deploy.

Deplo handles the builds, containers, routing, HTTPS, logs, monitoring, backups and the operational work around your application, while the infrastructure remains completely yours.

Deplo is an independent open-source project, and DeluxHost is supporting the project as an official sponsor.

DeluxHost is also the first hosting provider to officially integrate Deplo as a one-click deployment option on compatible servers, as part of our partnership with the project.

The public Deplo Live Demo is hosted on infrastructure provided by DeluxHost.

@DeluxHost there’s an issue with the installer. i think it needs to be more reliable across different environments. if Docker isnt installed, it tries to set everything up, but it doesn’t do it correctly, even though the Docker app is running. idk is it for me or not

installer fails if Docker isn’t installed, or sometimes because of some other issue.
the link print doesn’t print correctly sometimes. not always, but sometimes.

main issue i got is bash: line 1329: DEPLO_DOMAIN: unbound variable. idk why, i tried it on 3 servers and it only worked on this one. i didn’t go check what the issue was. i tried it and the tool is awesome . i might move from Dokploy to this.

It's how cloud platforms work generally. They also use docker in some way or another to simplify the deployment of apps - also, the “alternative to the cloud” part refers to the platform model, not Docker Compose itself.
