  Tampa is down and AMS is up for me. Tampa has been pretty stable for me until recently when Hetrix Tools reported a few short outages that appeared network related. This one is longer than the other two.

  I've had a dedicated in Tampa, it was solid the first month but I also got those two outages, however when those occurred the website was still accessible. This is the third 1 hour plus in what, a little over a week?

  Worth noting the this two were attributed to the switch in my cabinet, and both times they said they replaced the switch.

  Same here. My SolidVPS servers are down too, and their website/client area is unreachable on my end. Definitely looks like a broader outage, not an isolated issue.

  I just checked, my UK is in Redditch and my US is in NC, both work as usual, no slowdowns or issues.
  Isn't Tampa their kinda haunted location? Pressing F to pay respects.

  Damn, usually I am the first person to post when the Tampa SolidSeoVPS goes down, I can't believe so many people beat me this morning, Jesus!

  I'm still down, btw, gonna have to scrape by until they get it together with another "well, this never normally happens"... I can't complain at the price, but this seems to be a common happenstance this year, so far Otherwise, amazing service, if you can afford the hours long blips when things go offline unexpectedly in Tampa.

  I live around here and I do NOT self host (after 20+ years of doing so) because the weather and other elements around here are NOT conducive towards running servers. The heat. The lightning. This is a bad place for Penguins. I was excited to have a host right across the bridge from me, but I'm seeing that I just traded self-hosting for somebody else dealing with the same issues I'd be dealing with running it on my own XD haha. At least right now it isn't my headache. I'm not rushing down to some box somewhere to hammer it with a wrench while looking like a confused polar bear.

  My server in Tampa is also still down and so is their main site and client login.

  However, weirdly noticed that a few other sub/domains of theirs still work?

  Hopefully the issue can be resolved soon, as service with them has been overall good.

  Yeah, they always come back, eventually - from what I am seeing - this is upstream even of them? sucks. I guess just wrong place to have boxes. ;_;

  For anybody else bored of playing the dinosaur game:

  In a worst-case scenario, a severe Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) outage can last up to 15 hours, though major incidents are typically resolved within 4 to 6 hours.

  Rogers Canada (2022): An internal routing failure required roughly 15 hours of downtime to restore basic internet services to millions of customers.

  Cloudflare (2026): An unintentional withdrawal of BGP routes made services completely invisible and unreachable globally for approximately six hours.

  Facebook/Meta (2021): A faulty network configuration command took down all BGP routes to Facebook's DNS servers, lasting about 5.5 hours before engineers manually restored the networking equipment.

  Verizon BGP Route Leak (2019): A small ISP leaked improper routes to Verizon, causing widespread misrouting and slowdowns that took a few hours to correct.

  Since you are currently 3 hours into the outage, a 5-to-6-hour window is the most probable resolution timeframe for a standard datacenter routing collapse, while a 15-hour duration represents the extreme historical upper limit.
