We have a 10 Gigabit upstream network. You can use bandwidth as long as you don't abuse it.

If you sustain bandwidth 24/7, say a Tor relay, 50-100 Mbps as an average is fair. If your traffic is more bursty, say more users in the evening then the evening burst can be higher.

so in any case, even if it isn’t a tor relay, the max consistent usage is 100mbps if running 24/7? does the 20 hour nonstop usage logic work here at around 600mbps+ ?

20 hour nonstop at 600 Mbps once in a while is okay. However, the 100 Mbps is not a hard limit, it's just a fair use average.

If we do upgrade our transit pipes down the line, then this "limit" could change.

thanx. actually, i meant 20 hours every day. but 100mbps is okay since that’s 30tb+ a month.
