  • OkkProxy.com and niuproxy.com fraudulent calculation of bandwidth usage
I am reporting OkkProxy.com and niuproxy.com for deliberately double-counting bandwidth.
In their official Telegram support chat, their staff openly admitted that they calculate traffic as upstream + downstream and then multiply it by 2. This means users are charged for twice the data they actually use.

They tried to justify it with “binary vs decimal” calculation, but their own numbers clearly show the x2 multiplier (for example, around 375 MB becomes 750 MB, and 533 MB becomes over 1000 MB).

This is a misleading and unfair billing practice. Most legitimate proxy providers do not double the traffic like this. OkkProxy and niuproxy method effectively reduces the real value of the package by half.

I have clear screenshots of their staff admitting this practice. Anyone considering buying from them should be aware of this issue.

Don't listen to Niuproxy when they say they're different from OkkProxy. They're one company with the same paperwork and use the same proxy hosting. Niuproxy even recommended OkkProxy to me. They're a bunch of liars.

    LET offer threads:

2025: Post your order number and get double bandwidth.
2026: Order and get charged double for bandwidth use.

    The end is nigh.

That's actually normal and is called in+out or sum accounting. Passing 1 GB through a proxy server means 1 GB goes in and 1 GB goes out, so you end up using 2 GB.

  • Actually, I've used over 15 different providers, and I even created a counter. All the other providers were accurate; they only calculated upstream and downstream simultaneously to get the total bandwidth used.

But okkproxy and niuproxy are different. As you can see, after calculating upstream and downstream, they double the amount.

They claim it's their method and initially tried to hide it, but I investigated and found out. They admitted that instead of calculating in two directions, they calculated in four directions, resulting in doubled bandwidth. They claim they won't change it and even challenged me to post a warning.

Furthermore, when I initially checked before purchasing the package, they only calculated in two directions like other providers. But after I bought a package of several tens of TB, they switched to four-way calculation, and my tens of TB vanished quickly.

This is how they admitted to their x2 bandwidth calculation method with 4 directions after I exposed them.

Furthermore, they sold me another pool, purchased from RapidProxy, but when I checked RapidProxy, they only calculated 2 directions and matched the bandwidth used.

However, with the same pool, OkkProxy calculated 4 directions.

When I found out that Rapid was where they sold me the new pool, after I presented all the evidence that Rapid wasn't doubling the traffic

they had almost no way to defend themselves.

I don't see anything with them challenging you to post a warning.

They decided not to change and didn't care whether I posted or told anyone about it.

So, for you, charging double bandwidth usage is normal? I've never seen a provider like that. Could it be that you're also an employee within their system?

I see nothing there particularly incriminating. Confusing and lacking context, sure, but not incriminating.

They froze my account 30 minutes ago and haven't explained why, nor have they responded to my messages.

I still have over 10TB in my account.

Well there's a lot of missing context in those screenshots.

You gave them more than $3,000 before you tested their service?

You need to post all the transcript instead of just small snippets of you asking why you're blocked. Otherwise there's not much to go on and we could easily assume that you were doing something stupid and they blocked you for that instead of for questioning their bandwidth accounting algorithm.

There seems to be a lot of discussion here based on partial screenshots, so I'd like to keep this simple.

We understand why the screenshots raised questions about traffic measurement.

Just one clarification, as there seems to be some confusion between the brands mentioned in this discussion. The screenshots shared above are from an OkkProxy support conversation, not from NiuProxy. NiuProxy and OkkProxy operate as separate brands and services, so information from an OkkProxy support conversation should not be presented as evidence of how a NiuProxy account was billed.

We don't want to dismiss the underlying question about bandwidth accounting. However, whether a particular account was billed correctly can only be established by reviewing the relevant account records, usage data, and order information. Isolated screenshots from a support conversation do not provide that complete context.

We're happy to address concrete questions about NiuProxy's billing and usage measurement based on NiuProxy's own service and records. We simply want to make sure the discussion distinguishes between the two brands and is based on the relevant account information.

  • @NiuProxy said: NiuProxy and OkkProxy operate as separate brands and services

They are copy-paste services, but okay, lol, and the same legal entity operates them.

Along with your other brands not mentioned here.

Regarding the forum post community.bablosoft.com , you provided your Telegram contact information as @cxy0319 and your sales site information as niuproxy. I then messaged you, and you directed me to use okkproxy. You claimed you were different companies, but why was the company information the same, and that all the servers using the proxy were 100% identical?

Furthermore, I have provided the complete chat logs. I downloaded the entire chat before it was deleted, but it contains some of my personal information, so I cannot send everything. I am certain that the images I provided are complete.

  • And most importantly, I also tested bandwidth usage with your niuproxy.com system, and the bandwidth calculation is still double like okkproxy.

Furthermore, you were banned together on Reddit, and the moderator of that subreddit stated that you were banned together on that subreddit.

Thanks for providing the additional context. We just want to clarify one important point regarding the screenshots you have posted.

The person shown in these screenshots was an external promotional representative engaged by us to help with promotion and customer outreach. They were not responsible for NiuProxy's billing system, usage accounting, or technical operations, and their statements should not be treated as an official explanation of NiuProxy's billing methodology.

This also explains why you may have been directed from NiuProxy to OkkProxy when contacting that person. Using the same external promotional representative does not mean that statements made in a conversation with that representative constitute NiuProxy billing records or establish how your NiuProxy account was actually charged.

We understand that you have retained the full conversation and that it contains personal information, and we are not asking you to disclose that information publicly. However, screenshots from a conversation with an external representative still cannot establish whether your NiuProxy account was actually billed incorrectly.

If there is a specific discrepancy with your NiuProxy account, the relevant information would be the NiuProxy order, usage records, and account history. Those are the records that can verify the actual billing.

Regarding the account restriction, we won't discuss customer-specific account history or private communications publicly. We simply want to make sure that conclusions about NiuProxy's billing are based on the actual NiuProxy account records rather than statements from an external promotional representative.

The proxy system and ports used by both are also identical. This raises reasonable questions about the relationship between the two.
To avoid further debate on that point, I would like to focus on a clearer issue.
Can NiuProxy please give an official and clear confirmation on how traffic is calculated on your platform?
    Specifically:

Do you only count downstream traffic?
Or do you count both upstream + downstream?
Is the final usage multiplied by 2 (x2)?

Please answer directly as NiuProxy, not through any external representative.
If your billing method is normal, it should be easy to confirm publicly that you do not use the upstream + downstream × 2 calculation.
Once you give a clear official statement, I will verify it with actual data and provide the corresponding evidence.
Looking forward to your clear reply.> @NiuProxy said:
