  Always end up putting a Tor middle relay on an idler if I can't think of anything to do with it / don't use it very frequently. Do a good thing, help out your fellow internet users at < 5 min setup cost for you!

  in my 64Mb ram lxc i run shadowsocks-rust proxy. Alpine Linux. Runs really well.

  1x NixOS with Caddy and Tailscale to expose my NAS over the internet
  2x Globalping probe
  1x Tor relay, postfix

  Stuff I'm planning to set up:

  • DNS servers
  • Mail relays

  Everything else is on my NAS or other servers and tunneled through some VPSes.

  Reverse proxy, VPN, light web server, OpenClaw, bots.

  And if you leave it unattended long enough (without automatic security updates): heaps and heaps of malware.

  1x Forgejo instance with a small CI runner
  1x Prometheus exporter stack
  1x Ansible and Terraform control node
  1x SSH bastion host
  1x disposable dev and testing environment

  2 GB RAM can handle quite a bit when you avoid resource heavy workloads.

  EDIT : Also use it to test my own OS, built from scratch, with providers that support custom ISO
